Das leicht adsorbierte Gas, ist dann im PSA-Kieselgel fest, und kann von den anderen Gasen getrennt werden. Zur R\u00fcckf\u00fchrung des PSA, muss das adsorbierte Gas, desorbiert werden. Einer der Vorg\u00e4nge der Desorption besteht darin, den Druck zu senken, damit das beladene Adsorbens regeneriert werden kann.
