Comme il est imperm\u00e9able \u00e0 l\u2019eau, il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 comme colonne de garde pour s\u00e9cher les gaz avant que celui-ci n\u2019entre dans l\u2019absorbeur de gel de silice, donc le gel de silice \u00e0 pore \u00e9troit ne fractionne pas parce que l\u2019eau contenu dans le gaz a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9ch\u00e9e par le gel de silice imperm\u00e9able.<\/li>\n<li>Le type granulaire FNG peut servir \u00e0 raffiner l\u2019eau. Il peut \u00eatre recycl\u00e9 apr\u00e8s lavage et s\u00e9chage.
